Vividend was listed on the main board of the JSE Limited, within the Real Estate Holdings and Development Sector, on 18 November 2010 as a Property Loan Stock company. It
listed with an initial market capitalisation of R523 million.
The Company was established to invest in assets and opportunities within
the various property sectors in South Africa, in the asset class of industrial, commercial and retail, within the R30-R100m range.
The Company’s primary objective is to identify value and value enhancing opportunities within
the targeted sectors by using defined investment strategies that
have the goal of creating a
diverse and stable portfolio of assets capable of generating secure, consistent and continually escalating free cash flows. The Company listed with two properties valued at approximately R181million and has subsequently acquired another seventeen properties resulting in a total portfolio value of R1.327billion (12 retail centres and 7 commercial office blocks). Of these, two office blocks and one retail centre are single tenanted. Given the size of the Company’s portfolio, each property is considered and treated as a flagship property. |
